1. EU Digital Services Act (DSA)

Reddclips operates as an intermediary service within the meaning of the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065). We act as a passive conduit and caching service for content sourced from publicly available third-party platforms. We do not host user-uploaded content.

In compliance with the DSA, we provide a notice-and-action mechanism that allows any person or entity to notify us of content they consider illegal or in violation of our terms. Reports can be submitted via the flag icon on any post or by emailing contact@reddclips.com.

2. EU Copyright Directive (Article 17)

Reddclips acknowledges the provisions of the EU Copyright Directive (Directive (EU) 2019/790), including Article 17 regarding the use of protected content by online content-sharing service providers. As Reddclips does not host or store content but aggregates it in real-time from third-party sources, we operate as an intermediary. Nonetheless, we provide rights holders with an effective mechanism to report and request removal of content via our takedown process.

3. Right to Report

EU users and entities may report content that they believe is illegal under EU law or that violates their rights. Reports can be submitted through:

  • The flag icon on any post within Reddclips.
  • Email to contact@reddclips.com with the subject line “[EU Content Report]”.

Please include the URL of the content on Reddclips, the reason for reporting, and any supporting information to help us assess your report.

4. Processing Timeline

We are committed to handling all reports within a reasonable timeframe. Upon receiving a report, we will:

  • Acknowledge receipt of the report.
  • Review the reported content and assess whether action is warranted.
  • Take appropriate action (e.g., blacklisting the content from Reddclips) if the report is valid.
  • Notify the reporter of the outcome.
