This Privacy Policy describes how Reddclips collects, uses, and protects your information. Reddclips is a content aggregation service — we do not host or store media content. This policy covers data practices in the context of content aggregation and our ancillary services.

2. Data We Collect

• IP addresses — Used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
• Device fingerprints — A browser-generated identifier used to enforce bans and prevent abuse.
• localStorage preferences — Your UI settings, age verification status, and preferences. Stored locally in your browser only and never transmitted to our servers.
• Takedown reports — Information you voluntarily submit when filing a takedown or content report, including your email address and report details.

Video Chat (if applicable):

• Session metadata — Session IDs, connection timestamps, match history, and session durations.
• Report snapshots — When a user is reported during video chat, a single frame capture and associated chat log may be saved as evidence.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Content delivery & caching — To aggregate and display content from third-party sources efficiently.
• Abuse prevention — IPs and fingerprints are used to enforce bans, rate limits, and maintain platform safety.
• Takedown processing — To review and act on content removal requests.
• Law enforcement cooperation — We may disclose data in response to valid legal process (subpoenas, court orders, law enforcement requests).

4. Third-Party Services

Reddclips aggregates content from publicly available third-party platforms. We use Cloudflare for infrastructure and content delivery. Video chat connections are peer-to-peer (WebRTC) and may route through TURN relay servers. We do not serve advertisements and do not use third-party analytics services.

5. Data Retention

• Cached content — Subject to TTL-based automatic expiry. Content is not permanently stored.
• Takedown reports — Retained for compliance and legal purposes.
• Structured logs — Retained for 90 days, then automatically rotated and deleted.
• Ban records — Temporary bans expire automatically. Permanent bans are retained indefinitely.

6. Cookies & Tracking

Reddclips does not use cookies or third-party tracking. We do not serve advertisements. Your preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage and are never transmitted to our servers.

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — Request correction of inaccurate personal data.

Reddclips is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have collected data from a person under 18, we will take steps to delete that information.
